Projects on
the move.
A daily view of monitored open-source projects, their GitHub star counts, and day-over-day growth where a previous reporting-day observation is available.
Open-source projects on the move
Projects ranked using repository star counts, with daily growth shown when comparable observations exist.
What TechPulse tracks
The current open-source dataset focuses on repository metadata and star-based observations from configured GitHub projects.
Stars
GitHub star counts provide the primary measurable signal used to rank the monitored repositories.
Daily growth
Star growth is calculated against the immediately preceding reporting-day observation when both observations are available.
Repository metadata
Repository name, owner, description, language, URL, archive state, and other configured metadata provide context for each project.
Historical observations
Dated observations make it possible to compare current repository metrics with earlier reporting days.
Growth is a signal,
not a complete picture.
A change in GitHub stars can indicate increased attention, but it does not by itself measure contributor activity, code changes, issues, pull requests, or overall project health.
Every observation becomes history.
TechPulse preserves dated repository observations so changes can be compared over time.
Historical snapshots retain the open-source metrics collected for each reporting day, including project rankings and star observations where available.
